Some places invite you to do more than visit: you can imagine your life there. In the Azores, that interest continued into a development project of my own.
I am interested in bringing architecture, nature and community together. How to create an environment where people want to spend time, work, raise children and get to know one another.
The Azores are part of this search. Here, an interest in island life met the opportunity to help create a place.
Three foundations matter to me here: ecological architecture, integration with the local community and long-term value. A good place is interesting not only for what can be built there, but also for the life it makes possible.
What remains after a decision?
I pay particular attention to ecological communities, architecture and real estate with a long-term perspective. It matters to combine care for nature, involvement in local life and lasting value.
Another aspect of this interest is the new geography of capital: legal opportunities to work and invest across countries, different tax conditions and the economy of a mobile life.
